How to use this
Score whether a stranger understands your homepage in five seconds
Score each item: 2 = yes, clearly, 1 = sort of, weak, 0 = no. Be ruthless. If you have to argue for the point, it is not a 2. You cannot fix what you cannot see, and you are too close to your own page to see it. A checklist forces you to read your homepage the way a stranger does: fast, skeptical, and ready to leave. Every low score is not a criticism, it is a map. It tells you the exact place a visitor gets confused and bounces, while you still have the chance to fix it.
A real page from inside, blurred on purpose. The whole thing is yours the second you check out.
